Aviva provides home, automobile and business insurance in Canada. Elite, Pilot and Traders General amalgamated into Aviva Insurance Company of Canada on January 1, 2026.

CAA Insurance Company provides automobile and property insurance. Ask us about eligibility and current options.

CAA MyPace

CAA MyPace is a pay-as-you-drive automobile option from CAA Insurance for lower-mileage Ontario drivers. Eligibility and availability are set by the insurer.

Chubb

Chubb offers personal and commercial insurance in Canada. Ask us which products suit your requirements.

Definity Insurance

Definity is the current brand for the company previously known as Economical. Existing documents and communications may continue to use the Economical name during the transition.

Intact Insurance

Intact provides personal and business insurance in Canada. If your documents show a former insurer name, contact us to confirm the correct policy and claims contacts.

Travelers

Travelers Canada continues to write surety and contract bonds and new home warranty business. Definity acquired Travelers Canada’s personal insurance and most commercial insurance business on January 2, 2026 — see the note below if you hold an existing Travelers policy.

Zurich

Zurich Canada provides commercial insurance and risk services. The appropriate claims contact depends on the type of policy.

Specialty markets

Some risks are placed through underwriting agencies rather than directly with an insurer. An underwriting agency arranges and administers coverage on behalf of the insurer that carries the risk. Your policy documents identify the insurer responsible for your coverage.

CFC Underwriting

CFC is a specialist underwriting agency. We use CFC for cyber, technology and professional liability risks.

Lionsgate Underwriting

Lionsgate is a Canadian managing general agent used for specialty commercial and hard-to-place risks.

South Western Group

South Western Insurance Group is a Canadian managing general agent providing access to specialty commercial markets.

Totten Underwriting

The Totten Group is a Canadian managing general agent used for specialty and niche commercial coverage.

Changes affecting existing policies

Travelers Canada

Definity acquired Travelers Canada’s personal insurance and most commercial insurance business on January 2, 2026. Travelers continues to handle surety and new home warranty business.

If you already have a claim underway, continue working with your assigned claims professional. See our claims page for contacts during the transition.

Older insurer names

Policies and historical articles may mention RSA, Western Assurance, The Dominion, Chieftain, AXA Canada, Economical or other former brands. Contact us before using an old telephone number or assuming a new insurer handles your policy.

Lloyd’s

Lloyd’s is an insurance marketplace. Where a policy involves Lloyd’s underwriters, your policy documents identify the underwriting arrangements and claims contacts.
